Terms & Conditions HEADING_TITLE

Please read all of the terms and conditions very carefully. By placing an order on the Basket From Heaven website the Customer is deemed to have read, understood and accepted all of the terms and conditions.

The Customer is deemed to have accepted the baby gift basket/or other baby gift item/s, if Basket From Heaven Limited has not been notified of any defect, or unsatisfactory items within 7 working days of delivery.

Payment

All of the prices are stated in GBP £ Sterling. Acceptable methods of payment are Switch, Solo, MasterCard, Visa, Visa Electron, Maestro (U.K). All payments will be subject to authorisation and card confirmation checks by the card issuer. If for any reason the payment is declined Basket From Heaven Limited will not be liable for non-delivery.

Basket From Heaven Limited can accept payment by cheque, but this will be subject to a waiting time of up to seven days before the cheque can be cleared. Any goods that have been paid for by cheque can only be dispatched after the cheque has successfully cleared. Cheques should be made payable to: Basket From Heaven Limited, and customer's wishing to pay by cheque should telephone 01206 844000 to place an order.

Supplying a correct postal delivery address for your order

*It is the customers sole responsibilty to ensure that they have given the correct postal delivery address for their order.  Basket From Heaven Limited is not liable for any orders that are delivered late, or that get lost in the postal system due to an incorrect address or a partial address being supplied to us by the customer. 

The postal delivery address that you wish your order to be sent to must be entered in to Basket From Heaven's Delivery Address field before checkout.  If you are unsure of an address we recommend that you please doublecheck with the recipient or visit www.royalmail.com to help confirm the postal address and postcode.

Items returned to us because a full and correct postal address was not supplied by the customer

Should any item be returned to us because it was unable to be delivered because a full and correct postal address was not supplied by the customer Basket From Heaven Limited will not be held liable for non-delivery.  The customer will be liable for all re-delivery or return postage expenses incurred by Basket From Heaven Limited due to the incorrect address being supplied by the customer.

In the above situation an order can only be re-delivered if the customer pays all the additional postage/courier charges incurred by Basket From Heaven Limited.  If a refund is sought in the above situation then ALL of the postage/courier charges incurred by Basket From Heaven Limited will first be deducted from the refund amount and 5% of the cost of the purchase will be deducted to cover the card refund transaction fees incurred by Basket From Heaven Limited.  Should it be required proof of all postage costs can be given to the customer.

Cancelling an order

Due to our Express Delivery Service  it is imperative that you inform us immediately should you wish to cancel your order.  Cancellation for all orders should be done by telephoning 01206 844000 a.s.a.p and on the day the order was placed. If  you are unable to make contact by telephone then contact must be made immeditaely by e-mail.  Swift cancellation of an order is essential to ensure that the order is not dispatched/or a gift basket personalised.  We always endeavour to dispatch all orders very quickly once we have received them. 

*Any cancellation refunds for any reason other than a faulty item/s will be given minus a 5% admin fee to cover the card refund administration costs. 

* If a gift basket has already been personalised then an additional £8.99 will be deducted to cover the cost of the un-saleable whicker gift basket.  All e-mails should be sent to basketfromheaven@btinternet.com

We are sorry, but cancellation is not possible under any circumstances once an order has been dispatched.  

*If an order has already been dispatched, then should the customer still wish to gain a refund it is their responsibility to liase with their gift recipient and organise for the entire gift to be returned in original condition with all labels and packaging intact. Basket From Heaven Limited is not liable for the cost of the return, and it is the customer's sole responsibility to obtain a proof of posting for the return of their order. 

Refunds will only be made if our Customer Returns Policy has been adhered to properly.  Please view our complete Customer Returns Policy which is listed futher below.  

Returns for any reason other than faulty goods will be refunded minus the actual cost of Royal Mail Special Delivery Postage for the order which will vary according to the weight of the parcel, and a 5% admin fee to cover the card refund administration costs.  If a gift basket has been personalised then an additional £8.99 will be deducted to cover the cost of the un-saleable whicker gift basket.

*Personally engraved silver plated gifts can only be accepted for return if the item is faulty.

How are secure are your payment details?
When paying via this website Basket From Heaven Limited does not see your payment details.  You can choose to pay via WorldPay or PayPal Secure Payment System to protect the security of your payment information.  Your financial details are held in their Secure System.  Any debit card/credit card details are encrypted, and protected by a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) with an encryption key of 128- bits.  This is the highest level of commercial protection currently available. 

Delivery Terms and Conditions

It is the Customer’s sole responsibility to check that someone will be available to sign for the delivery during the specified delivery window.

It is also the customer's sole responsibility to ensure that they give a correct delivery address. Basket From Heaven Limited is not liable for any late deliveries or items that go missing as a result of us being given an incorrect address.  Please double check your delivery address before placing an order, and if neccessary go to www.royalmail.com and use their postcode finder or address confirmation tools.

If a parcel is unable to be delivered a card will usually be left asking the recipient to contact Royal Mail or other carrier to arrange redelivery or a collection. It then becomes the recipient’s sole responsibility to arrange for re-delivery. Once the delivery has been signed for at the delivery address it is no longer the responsibility of Basket From Heaven Limited.

Hospitals/and other non-private addresses
We will always arrange  a delivery to a hospital, or other non-private address if that is your wish, but clearly outline below the possible risks associated with this.

It is the Customer’s sole responsibility to decide prior to specifying a delivery address whether to accept the risks associated with sending items to non-private residences such as hospitals, workplaces, hotels or any other location that is not a private residence.

Once the gift has been signed for at the delivery address it is no longer the responsibility of Basket From Heaven Limited.  If a parcel is sent to a non-private address, then it will most likely due to security restrictions be signed for by a member of staff at a central delivery point, post room or reception. Once a parcel has been signed for by any member of staff, or the recipient, at the delivery address then it is deemed to have been successfully delivered. Refunds cannot be given if your gift is not subsequently passed onto the main recipient. If you have any concerns it may be wiser to send to a private home address or another relative/friend who could deliver the goods to the recipient.

Customer Satisfaction/Returns Policy

We will always endeavour to ensure all goods are of the best quality and are carefully packaged. Should the goods not reach the recipient in good order, i.e., have been damaged in transit please contact us immediately, and if obviously damaged upon receipt the goods should be signed for as ‘Damaged’. This is so recourse can be sought through the courier or other delivery agent.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with any of the goods, please ensure the return of the whole order with original packaging, in un-used condition with any labels or tags attached within 7 working days.   It would be advisable to contact us by telephone on receipt of any faulty/unsatisfactory items, so that we are aware of the proposed return, and so that we can help resolve any complaints quickly.

In the unlikely event of an item needing to be returned it is the Customer’s responsibility to liase with the recipient to ensure that the entire order is sent back in un-used condition, in the original packaging, with any labels or tags attached within 7 working days of delivery. Basket From Heaven Limited cannot accept partial returns of any order. Please ensure that all items are carefully re-packaged to avoid any damage occurring during transit.

In the case of properly adhered to Goods returns, we can only refund the Customer on the card that was used to buy the products. It is the Customer who must exercise their right to return any faulty goods, and any refund will only be made to the Customer, and not to the recipient. Should the payment have been made by cheque then any returns refund will also be made by cheque. 

In the unlikely event that a product is faulty, any Customer who has returned an order as per our returns policy, will be offered the choice of a refund of all monies, or a replacement gift. 

For all refunds due to any reason other than faulty goods, we excercise the right to give a refund minus a handling charge, covering the actual cost of  Royal Mail Special Delivery Postage for the order, this can vary from £5.40 to £18.50 depending on the weight of your order, and  minus an additional 5% to cover the card refund administration fee .  If a gift basket has been personalised then an additional charge of £8.99 will be deducted to cover the cost of the un-saleable whicker gift basket.

Proof of the actual cost of posting can be viewed on the parcel itself by viewing the smartstamp postage cost.  It is strongly recommended that any returned items are sent back by registered post and a proof of posting receipt kept, as Basket From Heaven Limited cannot not be held liable for any goods subsequently lost, or further damaged in transit.

Should you require a duplicate order instead of a refund, then please make contact immediately so this can be arranged. In the case of a duplicate order being sent out the Customer’s card must be charged again. A refund for any returned goods will only be paid once all the returned items have been received by Basket From Heaven Limited in satisfactory condition, or if damaged once a full investigation has been carried out by Royal Mail or other carrier. If an investigation by Royal Mail or other carrier, results in a refund of the postage cost then this will be re-imbursed to the Customer in full.

Basket From Heaven takes complaints most seriously, and values all Customer feedback.

Listed products/ Contacting you if an order item is out of stock
Basket from Heaven Limited reserves the right to change or withdraw any products listed on it’s website, update pricing or alter product description/or images without prior notice. We also, reserve the right to substitute goods if out of stock for an equivalent or greater value replacement.  If the item is a important element of your gift basket we will endeavour to contact you beforehand to check whether you wish to proceed with your order.

If the unlikely event that a product is shown on the website at an incorrect price, Basket From Heaven Limited reserves the right to decline fulfilling the order at that price. In such a case, the customer will be contacted and given the opportunity to proceed with their order at the correct price.

If for any reason there is a problem with your order we will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible. If your order cannot be dispatched due to an item being out of stock you will be offered a full refund, or an alternative if you should so wish.

It is the Customer’s sole responsibility to ensure that their computer has the capability to screen out anything that may be damaging.

The information entered by you on your order form will only be used for customer care, your account and in order to process your order.
